Readers rejoice! The TBR Pile Challenge has returned! Hosted by Roof Beam Reader, this challenge is an opportunity to finally read those books that have been collecting dust for years. Plus you get to socialize with fellow readers and win some fabulous prizes!
The rules are quite simple: Select 12 books that have been sitting on your shelves for at least one year. You must sign up with your list by January 15, 2019 in order to officially take part in the challenge. Also, don’t worry in case you struggle with finishing one or two of the books on your list as you are allowed to select two alternate books. This will be my second year participating in the challenge, and I’m determined to complete it!

Like last year, I tried to select a good balance of books spanning different genres. Each book is one I’ve been dying to read so hopefully this list will keep me focused. I Would Rather Be Reading 
Good looking list! DeLint is one of my favorite authors. I’ve Widdershins in a list for 2020 actually (working my way slowly through his Newford collection.) I’m curious what you’ll think of number9dream. I’m really enjoying your David Mitchell reviews.

DeLint has been a favorite for years, ever since I read Dreams Underfoot. I’ve reviewed a few of his books here, and I can’t wait to read Widdershins.

I loved The Blind Assassin — don’t think I’ve read any of the other books except Agatha Christie (and it’s been so long I can’t remember that one). I have read other story collections by Kelly Link and loved them. Good luck with the TBR Pile Challenge!

I’ve recently fallen in love with Margaret Atwood. Kelly Link has been a favorite for years so really excited for that one. Good luck on all your reading goals for 2019!

That’s a very interesting list! I’ve read Widdershins and really like Charles de Lint. Last year, I read my first Jules Verne (Eighty Days) and loved it. The humor really captured me. Enjoy your reading!
